1953 - Principal's Message

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Youth of  today will be the citizens of tomorrow.  What they do during their formative years will largely determine what kind of an adult they become. It is, therefore, only fitting and proper that the experiences these youth are afforded be of such nature and design as to broaden their abilities, challenge their thinking and enhance their wisdom.

This calls for broadening the scope of education both within the classroom and in the extracurricular activities. Vocal music, instrumental music, art, student forums, clubs, athletics and athletic associations, plays, debates and forensics, and student councils are among the very necessary out-of-class activities. Each has its part in helping mold the minds of youth to enable them to better serve their school and their community and to live a fuller and richer life.
