After graduation, I went to NWTC receiving an associate degree in accounting. I worked for the Algorna Record Herald until 1974 and then for the Fireside Inn as bartender and cook. In 1975, I became a bookkeeper for a law firm ;n Green Bay. After a year, I went to work for the IRS as a secretary. In 1977, I was promoted to Tax Auditor Manager in Milwaukee. In 1986, I became an Internal Revenue Agent and in 1988, I transferred to Washington, DC, as a National Office Program Analyst for seven years. I married Jack Brodsky in 1989 in Wilmington, Delaware, and lived in Fairfax, Virginia. In 1995, I became an Internal Revenue Agent field group manager. I was ultimately promoted to the job of Branch Chief in Milwaukee in 1999 until retirement in 2001 after twenty five years with the IRS. We moved to Wilmington, Delaware, in June of 2002. I work part-time as a file clerk for a very busy eye surgeon's practice. Jack retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1995. He now works part-time for an undertaker driving the hearse. We keep busy traveling, selling antiques, yard sales, and gardening. LOVE RETIREMENT!
