After graduation, I moved to Milwaukee where I worked for the Schlitz Brewing Company. I was married and had my first daughter. I then worked as a secretary to a Perlick sales manager and after that as a secretary for an advertising) agency. After a divorce, remarriage, another divorce, and two children, I moved to Florida in 1972 for fun, sun, sand, and a secretarial position. I lived in Florida until 1979, when I moved to Wheeling, WV, where I worked in several secretarial jobs until 1986. I then moved to Syracuse, NY, until 1988, when I moved back to Wheeling, WV, where I worked for a local entrepreneur. With his guidance and personal financing, I undertook the biggest challenge of my career, and became the owner/operator of a mini-resort/restaurant operation for fifteen years. After several good years of operation, the steady decline of the economy and congestive heart failure, I decided to cut my losses, close !he business in 2003, and get healthy. Remaining "gainfully unemployed" was my goal, but I just couldn't stay at home. In January, 2004, I began working as a Customer Service Manager for Cashland Financial Services.
