John Buege After graduation, I raised animals on my farmette and worked at the U.S. Plywood until December, 1965, when I entered the U.S. Army. Upon discharge from the Army in December, 1967, I returned to Algoma, and continued my employment at the U.S. Plywood. In 1968, I purchased a farm southwest of Forestville. I raised pigs and milked dairy cows. I continued working at the Plywood and dairy farming together until July, 1969, when I retired from the plywood. In 1982, I tore down the old house on the farm and built a new one. I continued milking cows until my barn burned in September, 1987. After the fire, I discontinued milking cows and began to cash crop my land. I also hauled seed for delivery to farmers from my warehouse for Northrup King Seed Company for eight years and tended Dar part time. I still cash crop and tend bar at The Forestville Bull Pen and Koenig's Bar in Kodan where our first lass reunion was held 35 years ago.
