After graduation, I worked at Badger Northland. In September, 1965, I
entered the US Air Force where I spent the next four years. While in the
service, I came home on leave and married Rosie Vandeveld on October 7,
1967. Upon my discharge, I worked for Myron Raether driving truck and
caterpillar. The following year, I started working for Seiler Oil Company
and was with them for about eighteen years. I then began working at
Wisconsin Label in Algoma, later called WS Packaging Group in the
maintenance department. I have been there for the last fifteen years.
Retirement 's up in the air for now. For a hobby, I raise miniature horses,
which I started about five years ago. I also spend a lot of time clipping
lawn on our estate, especially this year with all the rain.
