After graduation, I attended Vocational School and briefly worked in the office at the U.S. Plywood. I then went to UW Milwaukee and worked in the Physics Department office. As a family, we also lived in Scranton, PA, and Buffalo.NY. 'n the mid 1980's we moved back to the Green Bay area. I applied for retail work at Kohl's Department Store and became "The Shoe Lady". Everyone should work retail once in their life, quite an education about humanity! In 2003 decided I was done. Hooray! Gardening, grandkids, our three cats, and whatever I want to do. I have a little Mazda Miata, good for top-down drives. We have a big interest in Native American Culture of the Southwest, and we like to travel whenever possible. Last year we took the grandkids on Amtrak to the Southwest for two weeks. A real eye opener for everyone.
