After graduation, in the fall of '64 I started Nursing School in Oshkosh where I received my RN. I then got married and moved to New York and worked in an intensive care unit. Seven years later I moved back to Green Bay, continued working in the Open Heart Intensive Care Unit at Bellin, divorced, went back to school for my BS and remarried in December of 1977. In 1979 our son was born and I officially retired from nursing. I did a lot of volunteer work and enjoyed raising our son. When my husband retired from his medical practice, we moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, a little to the south but still a day trip to Wisconsin and family. We continue to spend our summers at our cottage in Door County, Wisconsin, golfing, gardening, and enjoying the cooler Wisconsin summers. After our son left for college, we took our first trip to Europe and have made travel our hobby ever since with many trips to Europe and South America. Life is good! Summer cottage (June to Sept.)
