Therese Hoffmann Pavlik

After graduation, I went to Bryant & Stratton Business College, graduating with honors. I worked at UW-Milwaukee. I married Jim Pavlik on August 19, 1967, and we moved to Madison. I worked at UW-Madison in the student union. Our first child, Christine, was born in September, 1968. Jim was drafted in 1969, and we spent the next two years in Maryland. When he was discharged, we moved back to Madison, and Jim continued with pharmacy school. Our twins, Steven and Angela, were born in March, 1974. In November, 1975, we moved to Green Bay. I worked part time in the Engineering Department at Schreiber Foods for nineteen years and retired in 1999. I then attended UWGB part-time for a couple years and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. For the past two years, I have worked part-time at the DePere Police Department, typing the officers report....and I love it. In March 2004, Jim and I took a three Island tour of Hawaii. We've been taking tennis lessons. We have four wonderful grandchildren. We just got a puppy named Dharma. (I only hope the story of my life after graduation matches Jim's...or one of us is in trouble!)
