After graduation, I attended Vocational School and graduated in September, 1965, as a Licensed Practical Nurse. I worked at Algoma Memorial Hospital until November, 1967. I married Al Conard in October, 1966. We moved to Green Bay in November, 1967. I worked at Bellin Hospital for eight months, but had to quit due to the fact I had not accrued enough time off for having a baby. I was rehired at Bellin in March, 1970 and have been employed in the Maternity Department ever since. I was cross-trained as an operating room technician in 1987 to assist for cesarean sections and help out during deliveries. In 1993, I was divorced and bought a condo that same year. I was also put in charge of material management for the maternity department. I hope to retire in four years. I enjoy reading, doing cross-stitch and playing with my cat, "Daisy". But my biggest enjoyment is spending time with my family and my two granddaughters, Gabi and Lili. I arn looking forward to the birth of my third granddaughter, Emmi in September of this year.
