Alberto & Leslie Kostichka Garcia

After graduation, I first worked at the Hotel Stebbins in Algorna as a cook. I then worked at the Piggly Wiggly as a meat wrapper for a short time. Then I went to the US Plywood. I met my first husband, Tony Watson, at Badger Northland in Algoma. We moved to Idaho in 1970 where I worked in trailer factories making cabinets. I got divorced. I remarried in May, 1975, to Alberto Garcia. Alberto is from Mexico. I met him in a Chinese Restaurant where I was Working. He didn't speak English, and I didn't speak Spanish. It has worked out because we are still married after :twenty-nine years. We moved to Utah in 1985 where I got a job with the Internal Revenue Service. I have been working there for the past sixteen and a half years. Alberto retired from farming in 1999. Since then he has been working for Clinton City for the past four years. As for retirement, I have no idea when, so I just take the days as they come.
