Cheryl Maedke Wergin

After graduation, I went to the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee majoring in Political Science, during the great protest years of the '60s! Frank and I married in August, 1967, and moved to Aurora, Illinois, where I finished college at Northern Illinois University. Throughout the years we moved closer to Chicago, finally moving into the city in 1989. I worked many years for a chemical company in Chicago as Director of Distribution. I finally made the break from the corporate world in 1982. I went back to school and got my Masters in Counseling Psychology from the Adler Institute Currently I am a management consultant working with physicians and hospitals. Frank and I travel extensively for pleasure (Frank is a travel agent), and I travel constantly all over the United States for my work. Our fun travel has taken us all over the world. The terrorists have not stopped us yet. My roots in Kodan die hard. I still enjoy gardening both here in Chicago and at Mom's who still lives in Kodan.
