Jack Schuch

After graduation, Jack attended UW Stout and UW Oshkosh majoring in Business and Communications. He worked at Motorparts & Machines, an auto parts store, as a sales representative. He also worked for Techni Search, a job search and placement service, where he was able to use his gift in dealing with people. I met Jack when I attended DK Teachers College in Algoma. He was driving his 1956 Buick, which our son still has and plans to restore someday. We were married on September 18, 1970, in Door County. We lived in Pulaski where I taught school. Jack got his pilot's license in 1971. He also continued his hobby in mechanics. Jack and I built a pole building on the and along County M in Algoma where Jack's parents had a cottage. Our son still owns that property. Kurt John Schuch was born on December 3, 1974. He was only ten months old when Jack died doing what he loved, riding his Harley Davidson, on September 27, 1975. Kurt has a daughter named Kadyn Marie Schuch born September 10, 1998. I am remarried to Dick Button, and we have a daughter, Kari, who is twenty-four.
