Richard * Joanne Tlachac Hehn

After graduation, I worked for Social Security for thirty six years, holding various positions, and retiring as a Claims Representative in June, 2001. One position required travel around Wisconsin, making me appreciate the state's beauty, even in winter. Other assignments included Maine and Michigan. Great co-workers, early retirement - life is good. I met Rich while adding a sunroom to my house. We enjoy hiking, traveling (including volunteer vacations) and camping on the Mississippi River. We are planning a boat trip to New Orleans next year after he retires. Our marriage has truly been a great gift - life is so good. I like reading so much, my dream job involved library work. Shortly after retiring, I shelved books. BORING. Then I started at Waukesha County Child Support doing various special projects. I love tracking people down. Life is good, I'm happy!
