After graduation, I worked at Badger Northland in Algoma for the summer. In
the fall of 1964, I went to NWTC for one semester for Marketing. I then
worked at the Algoma Plywood for a year. After the Plywood, I got a job in
sales with Ralston Purina Feed Division from 1966 till 1974. In 1974, I went
to work for Northrup King Company Seed Division. After three mergers, I am
presently with the same company, now called Syngenta Seeds, Inc. I work in
Northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I call on
thirty-nine dealers taking seed orders, putting on seminars, and
coordinating the distribution of seed. I enjoy four wheeling, fishing in
Canada, and traveling in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Ontario,
Canada. I have been on the Algoma School Board for over twenty-one years. I
have served on the Kewaunee County Fair Board for many years where I am
currently President. I enjoy cropping a small farmette and collecting
antique tractors. My daughter just got married this month, so I am looking
forward to grandchildren. |
