Remember the popular TV shows from 1965?  and the top 30 songs of 1965?
Life in a small town was simple and full of fun and our parents taught us well.  We learned at home and at school and we wouldn't dare go home to tell our parents we had been out of line at school or we'd catch it again from our parents! Back in 1965, gasoline cost 31cents a gallon, when you pulled up to the pumps one or two guys came out and checked your oil and your tires and cleaned your window.   Average price of a new home $21,500!  US population was 194 million people.
